Will Sheppy has studied martial arts under Grand Master Shin since October 1991 and holds a 3rd dan black belt. Will has won many medals competing in forms, breaking and sparring competitions.

Will holds a bachelors of science degree in environmental science from Oregon State University. He has worked as a mediator for Linn-Benton Mediation Services, resolving conflict with small claims courts and juvenile department victim offender programs. He has lectured to and trained many groups about mediation and problem solving skills. He has developed conflict management training programs for youths and adults. He has been trained by the National Conference for Community and Justice and has delivered community centered human relations facilitation for both public and private sectors.

Will is currently attending Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and expects to receive his masters in oriental medicine in 2010.  In January 2008, he opened Shin's Martial Arts Institute in Portland, Oregon.
